    What We Stand For

"Property management should put people first, not profits."

    We believe landlords deserve transparency.

Not hidden fees and surprise bills. Not agents who go silent when problems arise. You should know exactly what you're paying, what your property needs, and when things will get done. Every month. In writing. With photos.

We believe councils need reliable partners.

Families in temporary accommodation deserve the same standards as any other tenant. Properties should be safe, compliant, and properly maintained. If you're a council placing vulnerable families, you need an operator you can audit and trust.

We believe every property should be managed to the highest standards.

Not "good enough". Not "we'll fix it later". Every gas certificate on time. Every electrical check current. Every inspection documented. Because that's what protects your investment—and keeps people safe.

Our Story – Why We Care

Forte Property Group was founded from lived experience, not theory.

Both founders spent their early years growing up in temporary accommodation before later living in council housing. We know first-hand what it feels like to live with uncertainty, instability, and the impact housing can have on family life, wellbeing, and opportunity. Those experiences shaped our perspective early on — and ultimately shaped Forte.

As adults, we went on to build our own property portfolio with a clear purpose: to be part of the solution to the UK's housing challenges, not just participants in the market. Today, we work closely with numerous local councils to help meet urgent housing requirements, providing safe, well-managed, and genuinely good homes for families who need them most.

We believe that social and temporary accommodation should never mean compromising on dignity, quality, or care. Every family deserves a home they can feel safe and settled in — regardless of their circumstances. That belief sits at the heart of everything we do.

Forte is growing rapidly, driven by strong partnerships with councils and a shared commitment to raising standards across the sector. But growth, for us, is about more than scale. It's about impact. Alongside delivering housing, we are committed to supporting the wider community — contributing to local organisations, charities, and initiatives that strengthen the areas we work in.

We care deeply because this is personal. Forte exists to improve housing outcomes, support councils under pressure, and help families move forward with stability and dignity — while proving that it is possible to do well in property by doing good.

Danielle Smithson and Curtis Allen co-founded Forte Property Group in 2022 with a mission rooted in personal experience.

Having both grown up in temporary and council housing, they understand firsthand the impact that stable, quality housing has on families and communities. After building their own property portfolios, they saw an opportunity to approach property management differently — with dignity, quality, and social purpose at the core.

Today, Danielle and Curtis lead Forte's partnerships with local councils across England and Wales, ensuring that every property under their management meets the standards they believe every family deserves. Their commitment extends beyond property operations to supporting local charities, schools, and community initiatives that strengthen the areas where Forte operates.

    What Drives Us Every Day

    Compliance Without Compromise

We don't cut corners on gas safety, electrical checks, or fire risk assessments. Standards aren't optional—they're the foundation of everything we do.

Because we work with councils who audit our properties monthly. We can't cut corners even if we wanted to. And honestly? We wouldn't want to.

    Transparent Operations

You should never wonder what's happening at your property. Monthly reports with photos and actual costs. Quarterly inspections with before/after images.

We operate like you're watching—because you should be. Transparency isn't a marketing claim. It's how we run every property, every day.

    Accountability at Every Level

You get a named account manager who knows your property, your goals, and your preferences. Not a call centre. Not a ticket number.

When you call, we answer. When maintenance is needed, we coordinate it. When problems arise, we own them.

"I have been a property owner in the UK for the last 10 years and I have had the pleasure of dealing with two major property management companies. The first group I dealt with is an absurdity; they cheated and swindled me.

I migrated to Forte Property Group and the difference has been like night and day. I have found Forte Property Group a very professional and elegant organisation. They attend to me promptly, with a great sense of dedication and commitment.

Forte Property Group is light years ahead of others; they are very honest and considerate. I wish I had met them earlier. Since I did, I've not had one moment of regret doing business with them."

Real Results: How We Helped Sarah Transform Her Watford Property

    The Challenge:

Sarah's 2-bed flat in Watford sat empty for 8 weeks under her previous agent. They blamed "the market" and suggested dropping the rent from £1,350 to £1,200 pcm.

    What We Did:

    • Professional photography highlighting the flat's best features
    • Accurate pricing at £1,350 pcm (not £1,200)
    • Listed across all major portals within 48 hours
    • Full tenant vetting with references
    • Let to quality tenant in 9 days

    The Result:

    • £1,800 more in Year 1
    • Tenant renewed after 12 months
    • Second property now with Forte
    • Zero maintenance issues in 18 months

"Before Forte, my property was a stress. Now? I check my bank account once a month and that's it. Everything just works."

    Where We're Headed Next

Property management in the UK is broken. Most agents operate on 1990s systems with 2024 fees, treating landlords as transaction numbers instead of partners.

    Expansion Without Compromise

We're growing—but only in ways that let us maintain our standards. UK-wide service from our centralized Watford operations.

    Technology That Helps

Real-time maintenance updates, tenant communication logs, digital inspection reports. But you'll always have a human to call.

    Raising the Bar

Every council we partner with raises their standards because we prove what's possible. That's how we change the industry.

    What We Think Will Happen

Within 10 years, compliance will wipe out 40% of small letting agents in the UK. The regulations are coming: stricter EPC requirements, electrical safety standards, licensing expansion. The landlords who survive will be the ones who treated property management like a real business. That's the only type of landlord we work with.
